Teen charged in robberies of people met on online sales app

A 17-year-old has been arrested after police said they linked him to a series of robberies of people with whom he interacted on the Internet and then met in Southeast Washington.

Tykel Wilson Jr. of Southeast Washington was charged as an adult with two counts of felony armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery, police said. He was ordered detained until a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday.
