COUPLE ARRIVED. RHONDELLA: WHAT A TRIP. THAT BRITISH AIRWAYS THRICE 213 -- FLIGHT 213 ARRIVED HERE ABOUT TWO HOURS AGO. GOVERNOR CHARLIE BAKER AMONG THE FIRST TO GREET THE ROYAL COUPLE WHEN THEY GOT OFF OF THE PLANE. I WAS THERE INSIDE TERMINAL E WHEN THE PASSENGERS SPILLED OUT AND SPILLED THE BEANS OF WHAT IT WAS LIKE FOR SEVEN HOURS ON BOARD. TAKE A LOOK AT THIS. PRINCE WILLIAM AND PRINCESS KATE SEEN HERE HAD AN ENTIRE ENTOURAGE IN FIRST CLASS. THEY DID NOT BRING THE CHILDREN. THE COMMERCIAL FLIGHT DELAYED DUE TO THE RAINY WEATHER BUT IT LANDED JUST BEFORE 2:30 P.M. AT LOGAN AIRPORT. ARRIVING COMMERCIALLY, THE ROYAL COUPLE DOING THEIR PART FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. PASSENGERS ON BOARD WERE LITERALLY SHOCKED AND THRILLED. >> OH GOD, CAN I SAY THAT. VERY SLIGHT. SHE’S BEAUTIFUL OBVIOUSLY, AS ONE WOULD EXPECT. BUT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT TODAY. >> I WAS IN FOURTH ROW AND THEY WERE IN THE SECOND ROW. >> I THINK THEY WERE BOARDED FIRST, BECAUSE THERE WAS QUITE A BIG DELAY GETTING THROUGH SECURITY AND BOARDING, WHICH IS QUITE UNUSUAL. PHONES OFF STRAIGHTAWAY, WHICH AGAIN, YOU DON’T USUALLY HAVE TO DO. RHONDELLA: LOVE THE ACCENT. A LOOK OUT THE WINDOW WAS THE FIRST INDICATION THE ROYALS WERE FOR MANY IN THE REAR OF THE PLANE, THE FLASHING LIGHTS OF THE SECURITY MOTORCADE WAITING ON THE TARMAC, THE GIVEAWAY. Yes, the British royals fly commercial. The first overseas trip by the Prince and Princess of Wales since the death of Queen Elizabeth II began Wednesday. The UK royals' appearance on board British Airways flight 213 plane bound for Boston came as a surprise to several passengers, some of whom were unaware until the VIPs left the aircraft. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker greeted the couple when they Boston Logan International Airport, while passengers who were on board told reporters they were shocked and thrilled."He is a lot slimmer, can I say that?" Jo Atkins joked, speaking about Prince William. "She's beautiful, obviously, as one would expect, but yet I wasn't expecting that today when I got on my plane."Brent Suttles, who captured photos of the royals moving around the cabin during the 7-hour flight, said they were seated in Row 2 of the first-class cabin. Atkins said she thinks the Prince and Princess of Wales boarded the Boeing 777 aircraft first. "There was quite a big delay between getting through security and actually being able to board, which again, is quite unusual," Atkins said. "It was, you know, phones off straight away, which, again, you don't usually have to do."One British Airways flight attendant on board the plane described the couple as "utterly delightful."
