TEENAGE singing star Sinead Heaney will be stepping on stage without her famous grandmother Susan McCann for a rare solo performance at this year’s Northern Ireland Country Music Awards.

The Newry A-level student, who is known for her duets with her legendary granny, says it will be “surreal” performing in front of so many top country stars.
