Impaire Et Passe is a big, black, beautiful eye-catching horse. He caught plenty of them when bolting up on his debut in Naas and confirmed the impression when dropped down in trip in the Moscow Flyer. Stepping back up in distance in the Ballymore will suit him well.

He wasn’t the flashiest of workhorses at home to start with but he is now and Paul has chosen him. But it wasn’t simple as Champ Kiely has only been beaten once and that was when the race fell apart in front of him and left him lit up and in front a long way from home in the Royal Bond.
