IPL 2023 Live Telecast in India, OTT, Channel: The Indian Premier League (IPL) is entering its 16th edition as the two-month-long cricket extravaganza kickstarts on March 31 with the reigning champions Gujarat Titans facing Chennai Super Kings at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

This season, there is more than one way to catch the action live from the comfort of your home. While Star Sports has renewed its contract, Viacom 18 grabbed the rights to live stream the matches in India by paying a total of INR 20,500 crore to BCCI.

The IPL live-streaming game has completely changed after Jio Cinema’s announcement that the IPL 2023 will be live-streamed for free. This year, cricket fans won’t have to spend money on an OTT subscription to access the live stream of IPL 2023 as all the matches will be available in 4K Resolution (Ultra HD) for free in 12 languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Bhojpuri, across all telecom operators. The Jio Cinema also claims to provide a multi-cam feature for free this season.

How to watch IPL 2023 matches live on Television?

Star Sports Network will broadcast the IPL 2023 games on Television. Star paid a total of 23,575 crores to BCCI to purchase TV broadcasting rights in the Indian subcontinent for the next 5 years. Under the package, it will televise 74 matches in 2023 and 2024. It will broadcast 84 matches in 2025 and 2026, and then 94 matches will be broadcast live in the year 2027. So, like previous editions, Star Sports Network will broadcast IPL matches this year as well.
