Apple confirmed that its 2023 edition of the Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) will kickstart on June 5. While the next-generation operating systems (beta versions) like iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS, and watchOS 10 will be demonstrated at the WWDC 2023, it is speculated that the company may announce quite a few hardware products such as Reality Pro AR/VR headset, Apple Silicon based Mac Pro, 15-inch MacBook Air, and even the new Apple Silicon based iMac.

Here are all the major hardware products that Apple could announce at WWDC 2023.

Apple Reality Pro AR/VR headsets

The Reality Pro is likely to take the center stage at the WWDC 2023 as Apple ventures into the AR/VR world to take on players like Meta-owned Quest. In terms of hardware, the Apple Reality Pro could easily be the most powerful consumer-grade virtual-reality headset, which is said to run on a custom rOS, powered by a custom Apple Silicon.

The device is said to weigh between 300 to 400 grams, and is likely to pack two high-resolution OLED eyepieces, possibly with 4K resolution per eye along with a plethora of sensors for eye and head tracking. This is said to be a standalone device. However, users might have to pair it with an iPhone to configure and control it.

With all the cutting-edge technology, the Apple Reality Pro is also said to be on the expensive side. Leaks suggest that Apple’s first AR/VR headset could cost as much as $3,000 or Rs 2,50,000.

Festive offer

Apple Mac Pro

The Mac Pro is the only computer that Apple currently sells with an Intel CPU, and the company is expected to complete the Intel-Apple Silicon transition by announcing the Apple Silicon-powered Mac Pro, which will be the most powerful Mac that the company has ever launched.

As per the speculations, the Mac Pro is likely to go official at WWDC 2023 and will be powered by the M2 Ultra with up to 24 CPU cores, 76 GPU cores, and up to 192GB of integrated memory. Unlike the other Apple Silicon-based Macs, the Mac Pro is said to offer external graphics card support along with support for storage expansion. Unlike the current generation Mac Pro, the upcoming iteration is expected to be thinner and lighter while being more powerful in terms of both CPU and GPU capabilities.

Similarly, it is also said to feature the next-generation Apple Silicon M3 processor, which is said to be more powerful and power efficient. In terms of pricing, the 15-inch MacBook Air is likely to sit between the 13-inch MacBook Air and the 14-inch MacBook Pro.

New iMacs

Apple is also expected to announce the refreshed version of the iMac, possibly with M2/M3 chip at WWDC 2023. Again, the design and the features will be similar to the current iMac and are expected to come in multiple colour variants and will ship with the latest macOS.
