In the past years, BSEB was among those states that declared the inter and matric results in June. However, they introduced a slew of measures in the exam pattern because of which they started releasing the result in March from 2021 onwards, before any state or central board.

This year, the board released the answer key for objective questions on March 7. Students were allowed to raise objections till March 10 till 5 pm. This year the board provided 100 per cent additional questions for objective questions. Candidates also got extra questions for subjective type questions.

The Class 12 results were declared on March 21, and the overall pass percentage was 83.70 per cent. This year, Ayushi Nandan secured the first rank in the science stream with 474 marks. The arts stream topper was Mohaddesa with 475 marks and, Soumya Sharma and Rajnish Kumar came first in the Commerce stream with 475 marks.
