‘Sometimes slower is better than faster. Instinctively people always want to attack things and go as fast as they can, when sometimes you have to take your time and get it done once, rather than going too fast and then you fall or whatever, and have to start again.”

So says Sonia O’Sullivan, Olympic silver medallist, World Championships gold medallist and world-record-setter (her 2,000m world record, set in 1994, stood until 2017), and now the newest coach on Ireland’s Fittest Family.
