  • The final countdown

Today is the day where we'll get to see who will be crowned the king of the Austrian Open - and a lot of people have their money on Luke Littler.

The Nuke comfortably beat arch nemesis Damon Heta in what was predicted to be a tight affair.

And Littler's confidence will be sky high following his Premier League Darts Night 13 triumph in Liverpool on Thursday.

But the likes of Ross Smith and Josh Rock have other ideas.

Not to mention reigning champion Jonny Clayton who is also in the next round.

  • Second round highlights

It's been a thrilling day in Graz.

We've seen the boy wonder Luke Littler deliver again.

Ross Smith won an epic battle against Barney to progress to the final day.

And let's not discount the brilliance of MVG and Bunting.

    Tomorrow will be epic.

  • Results recap

Here's how tonight's action panned out.

  • Littler 6-2 Heta

It's all over... in a flash.

The Nuke is through with another outstanding display.

He made six of his 13 checkouts, scored four 180s and averaged 105.08.

18 100 plus throws too just shows how difficult it is to keep up with him.

  • Littler 5-2 Heta

    Littler's on the verge.

It's worth noting he's landed eight 140 plus scores too.

It's a commanding performance from the teenager.

The average now is over 105! He just gets better as the match goes on.

  • Littler 4-2 Heta

    And now it's four!

His 100 plus thrown count is so impressive and he's already landed over 15 in this match.

He is just so prolific at the oche.

  • Littler 3-2 Heta

    Littler's stepped it up again.

His average has now crept up to 101.44, after dipping. below 91.

    He's thrown three 180s already.

  • Littler 2-2 Heta

    Misses both in leg four.

Littler was stuck on 10s, while Heta needed three.

Heta got there first, and we're level.

  • Littler 2-1 Heta

He's not quite getting his finishes in.

And that gave Heta a chance to win the third leg. In fact, he's made just two of his six checkouts.

Average down to 91. Mini wobble.

  • Littler 2-0 Heta

Luke 'The Nuke' is wasting no time here.

He checks out 20 to take the second leg.

Going into the third leg his average is a game high 101.42.

    Ominous sign for Heta that.

  • Littler 1-0 Heta

What a checkout to take the first leg.

Littler makes light work of 126 to draw first blood.

And he threw a 180 in that opener.

  • Up next is starboy

For the final showdown of the night it's the boy wonder.

Luke Littler takes on Damon Heta imminently.

    Stay tuned.

  • Clayton 6-1 Dobey

The defending champ is through, and in some style too.

Jonny Clayton demolishes Chris Dobey 6-1 - with a modest average of 97.19.

But Doby's return was poor at 87.76.

    Still, Clayton won't mind that.

  • Wright 6-5 Lauby

Snakebite somehow finds a way to win this one.

Peter Wright fights off the Americans comeback to secure his spot on finals day.

It went to a deciding leg, and the Scot did it.

  • Van Gerwen 6-1 de Zwaan

    MVG looks unstoppable.

He's destroyed Jeffrey De Zwaan 6-1 in Graz.

A 102.62 average delivered the goods for the Michael, who seems in imperious form.

  • Another classic

The Austrian Open is bringing out the best in these players.

We've had another thriller as Josh Rock sets up a Last 16 tie against Danny Noppert.

But he was made to work for it - beating Dimitri Van den Bergh 6-5.

  • Barney's out

Ross Smith has won a belter.

It finished 6-5 to Smudger, who won the deciding leg with a 12-darter against Raymond van Barneveld.

Smith also managed a 105.96 average.

    Amazing stuff.

  • Not so Klose

Daniel Klose was a last-minute entry, but he's wasted no time in progressing to the next round.

He has seen off Andrew Gilding 6-2 in another comfortable win.

The German will feature in the final day's play.

  • Schindler 6-0 Pietreczko
