Supreme and Dr. Martens may have just released this year’s best shoe for the transitional season.
Reimagining Dr. Marten’s legendary 1461 Oxford Shoe, Dr. Marten’s latest release in partnership with Supreme is now available in two unique colorways — both with a design that resembles a rubbed off, distressed heatmap, in red/blue/green and black/metallic. The red oxford shoe includes blue/green accents along toe ends, lace eyes, tongue, mid-sole and heel. The black and metallic oxford accentuates metallic rub off accents more subtly in the same areas.
While the colorways may seem a bit riskier than most are accustomed to, our writers have taken the time to curate a few looks that suit the shoes and your existing wardrobe seamlessly, below.
Styled With: vintage Carhartt denim ($20+), navy Quince double zip sweater ($129) and vintage tye-dye t-shirt ($20+)
Styled With: Plaid over-shirt (similar from Buck Mason, $129) and same t-shirt and denim
Styled With: Uniqlo denim (yes, they are women’s, $49.90) and vintage Carhartt denim chore coat ($29+)
Styled With: Navy trench (similar from Uniqlo, $129), Toteme sweater ($310+) and same denim
Styled With: Buck Mason wool sweater ($198) over vintage t-shirt ($20+) and denim
Both shoes were exclusively released on Supreme.com on Thursday, March, 21st and were later made available on Dr. Marten’s website on Friday, March 22nd. When inevitably sold out, the shoes may soon come available at resale sites like StockX, Ebay or Goat.
