Michelle Keegan has announced her grand return to the UK in a surprisingly relatable way.
The actress has taken to Instagram to tell her followers that she is back in the country after working in Australia. The 36-year-old shared a mirror selfie as she went shopping in Homesense.
Captioning the post, she wrote: "Back home & back to my happy place... mincing around HomeSense." Michelle threw up a peace sign as she posed for the camera.
It looks like the Fool Me Once star has been enjoying some shopping in the UK after recently returning from Oz. Michelle had been filming the second series of Ten Pound Poms as she lived in Australia while she worked.
Michelle's Instagram post comes after she and husband Mark showed off the latest updates of their house renovations. The pair have created their dream home in Essex after a three-year renovation project.
The couple have shared updates about the property, which is reportedly worth around £3.5 million, in recent years. Following their reported housewarming party last year, which is understood to have signalled the completion of the renovation, Mark has continued to post content on their dedicated home account on Instagram.
He took to the platform last week to give fans another look inside it. He shared a video that showcased the property's entrance hall, which included footage from before the renovation, as well as clips of it now.
He talked about the transformation process in the accompanying caption. He said: "When we designed our house & first had visions, it was always the hall that everything was going to be built around. We showed Chris [from business Escalier] our dream sweeping staircase and we remember his words 'I will bring that to life exactly' when we show you the CGI you will see how he did that from the structure to balustrades & the handrail, they absolutely nailed it!!"
The former TOWIE star added: "Then it was about choosing the centrepiece …. The chandelier, this had to be right. Michelle had a vision of golden raindrops falling from the sky, she wanted it to be more than just a hanging ceiling light but more of a piece of art. We worked alongside [Chantelle Lighting] and created just that. The day we walked into the showroom to see the finished product (video to follow) we were absolutely blown away!!"
Fans took to the comments to say how much they loved the home. One said: "I bet you pinch yourself every five minutes! Such an amazing home - well done." While a second wrote: "Everything about that entrance is perfection," with a third adding: "Beautiful. Hard work pays off. Wishing you both every happiness and love in your forever home."
