Video shows 100mph drunk-driver Miley Connors who had child in car

A drunk-driver has been found guilty of dangerous driving and child neglect after speeding on a motorway hard shoulder at more than 100mph with a young child in the vehicle.

Miley Connors, 37, from Hambrook, West Sussex, received a two-year suspended sentence at Oxford Crown Court and was banned from driving for two years.

Connors was filmed by police on the M40 in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire in December 2021.

After crashing into the central reservation and abandoning his vehicle, he was located with a young child by a police helicopter and arrested near Worminghall.

Thames Valley Police PC Amy Boughton said: "This was one of the worst pieces of driving I have ever seen. Not only is it shocking to watch, it's gut-wrenching to know there was a young child in that vehicle, scared and crying."
