If you’re after the perfect escape from daily life there can be few better places than this beautiful farmhouse with uninterrupted sea and coastal views across Cardigan Bay. It is ideal for walkers with direct access onto the Wales coastal path in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.

Crogal Farmhouse is at the end of a quiet private lane between the fishing village of New Quay and the smugglers cove Cwm Tydu, with hidden beaches and coves nearby. Located on a smallholding with horses and sheep in adjoining fields it’s an easy walk of around 20 minutes to New Quay along the coast path.

There are nearby secluded beaches only accessible on foot and the famous Birds Rock is just a short stroll from the doorstep. And when you’ve done all your walking you can chill and relax in the conservatory or garden and watch the red kites soaring above.

Being near to New Quay Beach there are opportunities for plenty of boat trips nearby as well as surfing and plenty of great places to eat. Further afield you can step back in time visiting the Llanerchaeron National Trust property, an elegant Georgian villa designed by architect John Nash in 1790.

If you want to keep coastal you can walk along the coast path south down through Cwmtydu to Llangrannog and enjoy a scenic drink in the Pentre Arms. And when your legs need a rest you can go by train on the Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway or Cliff Railway up Constitution Hill for breathtaking views of Cardigan Bay.

This beautiful part Wales has it all: stunning sandy beaches, spectacular sea views and beautiful countryside walks and is an ideal base for holidays. Lampeter is 12 miles, Cardigan 20 miles and Aberystwyth 24 miles from the property.
