A Liverpool gin producer has joined forces with the city's Love Lane Brewery.

Turncoat Distillery will move its production facility into Love Lane's Baltic Triangle base as it aims to increase its production capacity. Founded in 2016, Turncoat aims to "capture the spirit of Liverpool" with its gins, which come in a number of flavours.

About the move, Edward Ridding, Head of Turncoat Distillery, said: "We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Love Lane Brewery as we embark on this exciting new chapter for Turncoat. This move not only allows us to streamline our operations but also allows us to offer on-site gin tasting experiences and distillery tours.

"We are confident that this strategic decision will enable us to continue delivering exceptional spirits to our customers while staying true to our roots in Liverpool. It also represents a homecoming with Turncoat and Love Lane both having a mutual co-founder.”

Gary Manning, the new managing director of Love Lane Brewery, added: "We are delighted to welcome Turncoat Gin to Love Lane Brewery. Their commitment to craftsmanship and innovation aligns perfectly with our own values, and we are excited to work together to create a wonderful experience for all guests here at Love Lane Brewery."

Love Lane Brewery reopened this month, having been saved from administration by Home Bargains' owner TJ Morris, who bought the brand out in January.
