Allegheny County Police are searching for a Clairton man who is wanted in connection with a robbery and shooting Tuesday in Mount Oliver that critically wounded another man.

The suspect, 29-year-old Dorian Ingram, should be treated as potentially armed and dangerous, police said.

Described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 190 pounds, Ingram is known to frequent the Clairton and Homestead areas, according to police.

The shooting was reported just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Citing information from witness interviews and surveillance videos, police said they learned the shooting victim got into Ingram’s vehicle, and Ingram drove to the 400 block of William Street, where he is accused of robbing and shooting the victim.

First responders found the wounded man and took him to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Ingram is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and illegal possession of a firearm.

Anyone with information concerning Ingram’s whereabouts was asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS (1-833-255-8477). Police urged anyone who spots the suspect to call 911 and to avoid approaching him.
