Ryan Garcia is back in the gym less than a week after recording a monumental upset win over Devin Haney.

'King Ry' was in fine form on Saturday night as he dropped Haney three times en route to a majority decision victory in New York.

Few gave Garcia even the slimmest of chances against the former undisputed lightweight champion as he appeared to be completely out of control in the build-up.

Concerns were raised about Garcia's mental well-being after he bombarded his followers with a litany of bizarre social media posts in the lead-up to fight night, ranging from conspiracy theories to a video claiming he was dead.

However, Garcia insists his worrying behaviour was simply an act - and that he was training extremely hard behind the scenes.

The 25-year-old is continuing to put himself through his paces days after his last outing and recently posted a video of himself shadowboxing in the gym, with the caption: "Still working @youngla.

"Should I let em know I’m still working? Oh well."

His blisteringly quick hand speed was on full display as he performed a shoe-shining drill while fans watched on in amazement.

Reacting the clip, one fan wrote: "Faster than fast... Quicker than Quick."

Another commented: "Fast and furious."

A third added: "Fastest puncher in boxing."

Garcia's stock has risen tenfold after beating a former pound-for-pound top-10 boxer in Haney but there is a big asterisk next to the win.

Ryan Garcia lifts lid on Logan Paul sparring session and calls him out for fight in the future

Garcia came in 3.2lbs over the 140lbs super-lightweight limit while his adversary made weight.

This meant Garcia ruled himself out of contention for Haney's WBC super-lightweight crown.

And so 'The Dream' retained the green and gold strap despite falling to defeat.

Haney has since called for a rematch but on a level playing field with both fighters actually at the agreed weight.

Garcia verbally agreed to a second meeting in the immediate aftermath of his win, but it remains to be seen if it can take place.
