As if Detroit Lions fans didn't love the selection of Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold already, just wait until you check out what he had to say in his introductory press conference on Friday.

Arnold, who was taken with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after the Lions traded up with the Dallas Cowboys, addressed the media for the first time from inside the Lions' building and made quite the first impression.

The 21-year-old displays no shortage of confidence, which is absolutely necessary to make it in the NFL. But Arnold's confidence is not to an obnoxious extent by any means.

Arnold is all about working on his craft, also. In fact, one of the first things he said to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown upon meeting him was about going to work on the JUGS machine.

The Alabama product appreciates the fact that the Lions gave up an extra draft pick in order to move up and secure him, and he plans on rewarding general manager Brad Holmes for his belief in him.

The Lions rookie plans on being a leader in the cornerbacks room, even at his young age.

After the presser was over, it was hard not to be impressed with Arnold.
