After a tough loss at the Xiamen Diamond League leg 1, 24-year-old Sha’Carri Richardson made her comeback at the 200m event in Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre on Saturday, April 27th. However, luck didn’t seem to be on her side once more as she was defeated again, this time by British sprinter Daryll Neita. Neita, 27, emerged victorious over Richardson in the race.

Neita blazed through the competition with an impressive time of 22.62, leaving the rest of the field in her wake. Anavia Battle of Britain secured second place with a time of 22.92, while Richardson finished third with a time of 23.11.
