The South girls reclaimed their swagger in the annual Orange County all-star basketball game.

Sage Hill’s Emily Eadie scored 16 points and Pacifica Christian’s Lauryn Ham added 11 as the South defeated the North 74-58 on Saturday night at Cypress College for their first victory in the series since 2014.

The North had rattled off seven consecutive victories in the game sponsored by nonprofit OCO and Farmers & Merchants Bank.

Eadie, a forward headed to Princeton, and Ham, a sharp-shooting guard, each finished with three 3-pointers.

San Juan Hills’ Sydney Peterson also reached double-figures for the South with 10 points off the bench.

Mater Dei’s duo of Central Washington-bound Emily Shaw and Duke-bound Jenessa Cotton added eight and seven points, respectively, for the South.

Rosary’s Allison Clarke, a guard who signed with Loyola Marymount, scored a game-high 19 points for the North.

Canyon guard Justine Prajitno of the North added 11 points.

The North won the boys game 90-79 behind 16 points from Dilayehu Wempe of Los Alamitos. Kingsley Ashley of Sunny Hills added 12 points in the victory.

Nathan Brosch of San Juan Hills scored 18 and Jonathan Moxie of Santa Margarita added 12 to pace the South.
