Luisa Zissman has shared her best hack to making her fake plants look real that costs less than a tenner.

The entrepreneur, who was a runner-up on The Apprentice and a finalist in Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, is always sharing handy tricks and tips online from recipes to room tips and tricks.

The podcaster, who co-hosts LuAnna with television presenter, Anna Williamson, has said that she loves this hack and it will make your "artificial trees look more realistic" adding: "I have so many of these in my home and they’re so easy to DIY yourself."

Talking her TikTok followers through the step she explains: "It's so easy. You just want to fill up your pot with cardboard or rubble - any of that extra packaging from stuff that you order online."

She continues: "You them pop your [flower or plant] pot in and fill the packing up to level [of the outside pot you will have on display]."

The mum of three also bought fake moss from Amazon which she places on top to hide the packaging and to secure the plant. One option from Amazon, Warmiehomy Artificial Moss, is currently reduced to £7.43, but if you're looking for something cheaper Hobbycraft sells 50g of decorative moss for just £4.

She said: "I always find they are really natural looking. I also, to keep the moss in place, it's just a little trick, spray it with some hairspray and that keeps it all in check and makes it not too fluffy. The final result, I think, is absolutely gorgeous."

Having amassed over 33,000 views in less than 18 hours, one viewer took to the comments and said: "Definitely going to try this with mine looks really nice." Another wrote, adding clap and sparkle emojis: "Oh I love this Thank you""
