A STAR of The Apprentice has revealed she had the last laugh when a bank turned down her loan application.
Raj Chohan appeared on the latest series of the hit BBC One show and had high ambitions.

The mortgage broker - from Leamington Spa - became known for her stern and direct approach on the show.
But before Raj was successful she experienced financial hardship like most when the 2008 recession hit.
In a huge update to fans, she recounted the stressful time and how she had been turned down for a loan.
Raj shared a video of a huge building she'd bought with her husband Yuvraj during construction works.
She then began by saying: "Wealth is a slow and long journey. Each set back, we use it to leap forward further. During a really difficult time we needed £20,000 to see ourselves through a tricky patch when we were just about to lose our jobs.
"Refused. We then needed to remortgage off our fixed rate (already on a high rate from a self cert mortgage). We were again refused. Yuvraj and I found our feet. Started new businesses. 24/7 graft!"

Fast-forward to now, the aspiring multimillionaire has revealed the building she's snapped up is where the bank once stood.
Raj gleefully explained: "Then this building! Looking at it - The Royal Bank of Scotland - the lender who didn’t allow us to remortgage and we paid 11% on our mortgage with 2 kids under 3 years old.

"The time came… they were going under during Covid, on the market. We went and viewed it. Came back to it a few months later. We wanted it but didn’t believe it was possible! BUT WE DID IT! We bought the bank!!!"
Raj left her fans inspired as they flooded her with compliments, with one writing: "Raj went and bought the bloody bank!!"
A second said: "Fine lines and perseverance, what an effort, and what a result."

Raj Chohan was axed from the BBC boardroom after her team failed to win a task of selling products on a shopping channel.
After the loss, the mortgage broker headed to The Apprentice's infamous La Cabana Café.
