Back in July 2022, HTC announced HTC A101 tablet in markets like South Africa and Russia. Nearly two years later, the brand has unveiled the HTC A101 Plus Edition tablet in Russia. Here is a look at what the mid-range tablet offers in terms of specifications and price.

The HTC A101 Plus Edition features a 10.95-inch WUXGA IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset, which clocks at 1.6GHz. Despite being a Plus model, its performance will be slightly lower than that of the Unisoc T618-powered HTC A101.

The A101 Plus Edition comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The tablet houses a 7,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Thankfully, the tablet runs on the latest Android 14.

The A101 Plus Edition boasts a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera. Other specifications include quad speakers, face unlock, Wi-Fi 802.11 dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C connectivity, and dual nanoSIM slots. The tablet measures 256.6 x 168.2 x 7.5mm and weighs 501 grams.

In Russia, the HTC A101 Plus Edition costs RUB 15,990, which is approximately $170. It will be available color options, such as gray and silver. Currently, there is uncertainty regarding the tablet’s global market release.
