- The Blue Devils continue to be one of the most powerful offensive teams on Sunday afternoon's this season. Duke has posted 10.72 runs per game on Sunday's this season after pounding Florida State 16-4 in the series finale at Jack Coombs Field.
- Freshman AJ Gracia continues to tear it up for the Blue Devils in his rookie season. Gracia has started all 44 games the Blue Devils have played this season, producing a slash line of .327/.579/.458 this season. On Sunday against Florida State, Gracia broke the freshman RBI record, held by Joey Loperfido with 43. He currently is two home runs away from breaking Andrew Fischer's freshman home run record of 11.
- Head coach Chris Pollard posted his 17th career 30-win season with the victory over Florida State on Sunday, and the ninth during his time in Durham.
- Senior Alex Stone continues to produce over the second half of the season, earning the nod as a key "second half player" throughout his career. Stone has produced a .347 average at the plate (26-for-75) collecting eight doubles, one home run, 17 RBI, four walks and six hit by pitches. He holds a .493 slugging percentage and holds an on base percentage of .419 since flipping to the second half of the year.
- Ben Miller continues to rake in his 40 games played in 2024. Miller leads the team in batting average (.418), doubles (17), OPS (1.239), hits (69), slugging percentage (.752) and on base percentage (.487). His 69 hits are also 20th most in the country by a single player. The Durham, N.C., native has also added 13 walks and nine hit by pitches, beginning the season with a 13-game hitting streak. He collected his 20th multi-hit contest of the season against Virginia Tech two weekends ago. He is now three doubles away from tying a handful of players for fifth all-time in a single season with 20 and seven doubles away from tying Vaughn Schill who finished the 1999 season with 24 doubles.
