Britain's Got Talent viewers were left amazed over the show's 'best audition yet' on Saturday night.

During the latest instalment, Abigail, seven, and Afronitaaa, 20, performed an incredible routine to a medley of tracks. Ahead of the performance, Afronitaaa said she decided to mentor Abigail, who is deaf, after seeing her dancing videos online.

The duo performed an incredible routine on stage, receiving a standing ovation from the audience and judges for their performance. Simon Cowell said they were one of his "favourite auditions of the year" while Amanda Holden added: "You are two of the most fantastic dancers we have ever had on Britain’s Got Talent", with Abigail and Afronitaaa sailing through to the next round.

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to demand that the duo deserved a Golden Buzzer as the act was so amazing. One person said: "@antanddec should’ve broken the rules and pushed the golden buzzer a second time for Abigail. THAT is what that buzzer is for! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent", a different account put: "That last act was amazing .. really deserved a golden buzzer #BGT" while another added: "No golden buzzer? How? #BGT."

It comes as Britain's Got Talent is in a huge ITV schedule shake-up next week. The hit competition show typically airs on Saturday evenings with occasional double bills on Sundays for the launch of the series or finals. However, next week, Britain's Got Talent will be pulled from its usual Saturday schedule and will instead air on Sunday night.

Instead of getting Britain's Got Talent on Saturday 11 May, In With A Shout and Casino Royale will be airing from 7pm until 10:40pm. However, despite not airing on Saturday evening, BGT will instead air on Sunday 12 May at 7:40pm. It comes as the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be airing on Saturday 11 May from 8pm until 11:55pm on BBC One, where Olly Alexander will represent the United Kingdom and perform hit track Dizzy.
