Met Gala 2024: Here’s All the Best After-Hours Celebrity Menswear From the Afterparties
The Garden was electric last night…the 2024 Met Gala “Garden of Time,” that is.
We saw a whole bevy of thematic menswear represented last night, ranging from the botanical (Colman Domingo’s calla lilies; Mike Faist’s radish pin) to the temporal (Barry Keoghan’s Mad Hatter cosplay; Ben Simmons’s clock briefcase). We saw Tom Ford wear a not-Tom Ford suit, and we saw Bad Bunny wear a pair of eerily bovine Margiela hooves that could turn Mr. Tumnus into a Tabi swiper.
But the fashion didn’t stop after the lights went up at the main event, because that meant it was time for celebrities like Keoghan, Usher, Dwyane Wade, Alexander Skarsgård, and more to head out for the afterparties. And on Met Gala Monday, a great afters fit means turning up the fashion volume even a little bit more than usual.
