Sanvir’s Spectacular Catch Steals the Show While Dismissing Marcus Stoinis

On the 57th match of the IPL 2024, Sunrisers Hyderabad is locking horns with Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The match is crucial for both teams. Hyderabad gave an amazing start. In the beginning, Sanvir Singh’s exciting catch while dismissing Marcus Stoinis grabbed the limelight. 

Sanvir’s Exceptional Catch:

The Hyderabad spectators are enjoying an exciting clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants. Hyderabad has given a dominating start.

In the second delivery, Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a short ball, prompting Stoinis to attempt a hasty pull shot. However, the ball struck high on the bat, resulting in a lofty trajectory towards mid-on. Sanvir swiftly sprinted across the field, executed a diving effort, and skillfully managed to position his fingers underneath the ball just in time. His exceptional fielding display resulted in a crucial catch, demonstrating his agility and commitment on the field.

But the third umpire wanted to have a closer look before giving any signal of dismissal. Later on, the third umpire checked the decision. It was a clear-out. Marcus Stoinis departed after scoring only 3 runs in 5 balls. But Sanvir’s Attempt grabbed the attention.

As both teams were facing each other in a crucial game, Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and opted to bat first. While opening the innings along with KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock failed again. He departed scoring 2 runs in 5 balls. Stoinis walked out away on 3 runs. KL Rahul was dismissed scoring only 29 runs in 33 balls. Krunal Pandya run out on 24 runs. 

Lucknow registered the lowest powerplay score in this match. On the other hand, the Hyderabad bowlers gave a dominating start, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2 wickets in 7 runs. Pat Cummins got 1. LSG is 71/4 in 13th over.
