Ryan Garcia and Errol Spence exchanged heated insults in a social media feud on Wednesday night.

The American boxers were previously friends and famously had a bet on one of Gervonta Davis' fights two years ago, but their relationship has now soured.

Prior to facing Davis himself, Garcia and Spence had a wager at ringside for the Rolly Romero fight in 2022.

Spence won $20,000 from Garcia as Davis knocked out Romero.

This was all lighthearted and built a friendship between them, which was only strengthened further after Garcia lost to Tank and linked up with Spence's trainer Derrick James.

However, James is now suing Spence, claiming he was not fully paid by the boxer.

And Garcia has taken this personally in the wake of his win over Devin Haney - which is marred by controversy due to two positive drugs tests currently being investigated.

On Wednesday, Spence responded to a fan asking about Garcia and said: "I’ll legit beat his ass at the AT&T Stadium at 154lbs-160lbs off the strength of him testing positive, but I don't take tune ups."

Garcia replied: "Please let’s run it. I will gladly destroy you and finish the job. Crawford almost did I will finish the job."

Spence then hit back: "Tank didn’t get to finish you 'cause you quit like a h** like we knew you would do. Go find someone to play with."

Garcia furiously responded: "F*** you before I steal your girl b***h. Pay back Derrick [James] h**. That’s how I’m coming b***h."

The exchange continued with a lengthy back-and-forth, which ended in the early hours of Thursday morning with Garcia claiming he's now had his team send Spence an official fight offer.

He posted mocked up fight poster with the caption: "It’s on @ErrolSpenceJr. Official offer been sent. You got 72 hours to respond."
