EastEnders could be about to air a sad split on the BBC soap, following a cheating confession in the latest episode.

Two characters were overheard making a shocking admission on Thursday night, as a secret kiss was revealed. Cindy Beale tried to blackmail George Knight over their moment of passion, by threatening to tell all to his new partner Elaine Peacock.

Cindy was trying to stop George from organising another fight with Rufus, after his boxing almost killed him recently. After feeling unwell George went to hospital where he underwent tests.

Doctors have warned him after a brain scan that one more fight will kill him, and just one punch to the head could see him lose his life. His family are now worried he will fight, amid him struggling to cope with recent events.

The truth about his childhood and the fates of his biological parents, along with the death of his adoptive mother Gloria, has left George spiralling. He's turned to fighting to get over things instead of speaking about his emotions.

Cindy urged him to have therapy, but this did not go to plan in the latest episode. George stormed out and made it clear he planned to fight, after Cindy had caught him speaking with Rufus on the phone.

It's then that she decided the only way she could stop him and likely save his life was to make sure he did not fight. She warned George that if he went through with the fight, he'd leave his heartbroken daughters without their dad.

Not prepared to let that happen she said she was going to Elaine about their kiss recently, hoping he would cancel the fight plan. But George shocked her when he said he didn't care if Elaine knew about them.

What neither of them knew though was that Elaine was outside the door, and she heard everything. So will Elaine confront George, leading to the end of their relationship? Will George also go ahead with the fight and face death once more?
