Chelsea vs. Nottingham Forest lineups, team news

Pochettino's injury list is unchanged ahead of this clash and the Argentinian is unlikely to risk players edging back to full fitness in the final games of the season. Eight first team stars are expected to miss the run-in, but Christopher Nkunku could start, after coming off the bench in the 5-0 win over West Ham last weekend.

Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Petrovic (GK) — Gusto, Badiashile, Silva, Cucurella— Caicedo, Gallagher — Madueke, Palmer, Nkunku — Jackson.

Chelsea subs (9): TBC

Forest picked up a vital 3-1 win over already relegated Sheffield United last time out and Nuno Santo will make limited changes. Wales international Neco Williams remains sidelined with Nicolas Dominguez potentially recalled.

Nottingham Forest predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Sels (GK) — Montiel, Boly, Murillo, Aina — Dominguez, Yates, Danilo — Gibbs-White, Wood, Hudson-Odoi.

Nottingham Forest subs (9): TBC

Chelsea vs. Nottingham Forest prediction

Both sides need a win in this clash, with Forest not sure of survival, and Chelsea looking for something positive to wrap up Pochettino's first season at the club. Inconsistency has been an issue for Chelsea, but defeat to Arsenal last month is their only loss in 12 Premier League games, and Forest have won just once in their last five league matches at home.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Nottingham Forest
