Stacey Solomon's status on Loose Women has been addressed by her colleague Linda Robson, who spoke out about Stacey's recent absence from the show. Stacey, aged 34, took a break from the ITV daytime panel in December 2022 to prepare for the arrival of her fifth child.

After welcoming baby Belle in February 2023, the singer has only made sporadic appearances on Loose Women. Linda, 66, has indicated that fans shouldn't expect Stacey to be back on a regular basis as she is "too busy" with other commitments.

Linda shared with The Sun: "She's not going to be a regular anymore? I don't think so, but you never know," and expressed her fondness for Stacey's contribution to the programme: "I would love her to come back, she's a really good Loose Woman - she's really honest. But I think she's got too much on."

Acknowledging Stacey's burgeoning career, Linda noted: "She's got her own series and her and Joe are out in their little house. She's still really welcome but she's just so busy."

Since her debut on Loose Women in 2016, Stacey quickly became a viewer favourite. Her return to work post-pregnancy saw her take on significant roles in two major TV projects, reports the Express.

Stacey has been busy filming for BBC's Sort Your Life Out and Channel 4's Renovation Rescue, which has seen her travelling across the UK. In November 2023, Stacey briefly returned to Loose Women and discussed the reasons behind her extended time away from the show.

She shared with her audience: "It's been crazy because Belle was a wonderful surprise, but what that meant was that I had to fit my filming schedule into a very short period of time."

"I've just been up and down the country with Sort Your Life Out and filming another show so I haven't been able to even get into town. And now I get to be with my actual friends again, for a catch-up, it's like therapy being here."

This revelation comes as Stacey's other half, Joe Swash, has expressed that he wouldn't dismiss the idea of expanding their family further. The ex-EastEnders actor, aged 42, is dad to Rex, four, Rose, two, and baby Belle with Stacey.

Additionally, Joe has a son Harry, 16, from a previous relationship and plays stepdad to Stacey's sons Zachary, 16, and Leighton, who is 12. Speaking to The Mirror, Joe disclosed: "I never thought I'd be sitting here with six kids. So you never know what life's going to throw at you. But if it does throw another baby at me there could be worse things."

"It's really hard. When you're tired you feel like a zombie. But they're your kids and it's the most fulfilling job in the world."
