Marriage is not a new topic to Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, who has over time been talking about the kind of wife he wants.
In the trend, on Friday speaking with Betty Kyallo on TV 47, Salasya revealed that he now wants to marry a busy woman.
Additionally, he also wants a submissive wife.
"Shida ya wife na hii ni lazima wasichana waelewe Biblia inasema submissive. It's Biblical it's spiritual you should be submissive," he said.
"It's a very difficult thing for me to marry kwa sababu madem wa siku hizi wanataka kukaa na wewe Nairobi na mimi nataka akae ushangu. Mtu alikuwa ananiadvise nipate mwalimu ama banker. Mtu mwenye ako busy asiniletee stress."
This is loosely translated to, "It's a very difficult thing for me to marry because ladies nowadays want to live with you in Nairobi and I want someone I can leave at home. Someone was advising me that I should get a teacher or a banker. Someone who is busy and won't stress me out."
Salasya said a busy woman would not keep on texting him either.
He added that he wants to marry two or three wives, confident that he can provide for their financial needs.
Earlier in the month, the first-time MP took to his Instagram page stating that he is considering marrying more than two wives.
He attributed this to the current cold weather, saying it has made him start thinking about getting one wife this year and another next year.
"This cold weather is starting to force me to think about getting one wife this year and another next year," he stated.,
"I must marry more than two wives. The money to protect them is a little to maintain."
