Ange on Richarlison absence

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Richarlison misses today's clash with Burnley through injury.

A second-half substitute and goalscorer last time out against Liverpool, Ange explained that the forward picked up a calf issue in training on Friday and was therefore unavailable for today's clash with the Clarets.

The forward will now go for a scan to assess the extent of the muscular problem.

Speaking ahead of the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, our Head Coach commented: "He picked up an injury in the last action of training yesterday, a bit of a calf injury. He's gone for a scan, so we'll wait and see what the outcome is, but he's not available for today."
