Taking the record for the longest song title at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest is Estonia’s entry from 5miinust X Puuluup.

Titled (Nendest) Narkootikumidest Ei Tea Me (Küll) Midagi, which roughly translates as We (Sure) Know Nothing About (These) Drugs, the song is a bit mysterious in the sense that it could have many meanings.

The two bands have suggested it could be about how wealth can impact how the police treat certain people, whilst other comments have said the song could be about a police raid or supposedly even about disproving that listeners are not drug addicts.

Estonia’s representatives are hip hop group 5miinust and 'zombie' folk duo Puuluup. 5miinust have released two albums to date and have won the Artist of the Year trophy at the Estonian Music Awards on two separate occasions. Puuluup, meanwhile, have been releasing music since 2014.

It’s one of the more unusual entries to this year’s event, with some cheeky lyrics in tow, but fans have already lapped it up having successfully made it through Thursday night’s semi-final. During Saturday’s grand final, the two bands will perform ninth.

The performance features all members dressed in black suits, whilst the Puuluup duo are seen playing talharpas - a traditional bowed string instrument similar to a lute. There’s also a bit of crazy ‘dad’ dancing thrown in for good measure - you’ll see what we mean when you watch it.

Also, fun fact for you: The band members of 5miinust told the Official Eurovision Podcast that they do not wear underwear, whilst Puuluup were adamant that they do. So, there you go, now you know.

Estonia's odds of winning the contest were 200/1 ahead of the show, according to bookies Ladbrokes.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final takes place on Saturday, May 11. It will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer with Graham Norton once again returning to commentate on all proceedings for UK viewers.

On BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, Scott Mills and Rylan will be leading the commentary. Coverage across the BBC will start at 8pm.

The lyrics for (Nendest) Narkootikumidest Ei Tea Me (Küll) Midagi in Estonian and translated into English in italics

Me pole narkomaanid pole midagi teind

Kleidid meie seljas on prügikastileid

Politseikroonika ja suvilas on reid

Ainus kott, mis näha, täis pandipudeleid

(We're not junkies, we haven't done anything

The dresses we have on are dumpster-find

TV show COPS and a police raid in the cottage

The only bag here is full of deposit bottles)

Me pole narkomaanid pole midagi teind

Kleidid meie seljas on prügikastileid

Politseikroonika ja suvilas on reid

Vormis mehed külas mul on väga okei

(We're not junkies, we haven't done anything

The dresses we have on are dumpster-find

TV show COPS and a police raid in the cottage

A visit from men in uniform? That's totally ok)

(Uuuu yeeee)

Kuula nüüd seda

Saab huugama ära

Meid kuulda on täna

A see kott vii ära

(Listen to this now

We gon' be done getting turnt

You can hear us tonight

But take this bag away)

Ma ei tea narkootikume, limpsi tean ja siidrit

Vahet ma ei suudaks teha vitamiinil spiidil

(I don't know drugs, I know soda and cider

Couldn't tell the difference between vitamins and speed)

Kuula nüüd seda

Saab huugama ära

Meid kuulda on täna

A see kott vii ära

(Listen to this now

We gon' be done getting turnt

You can hear us tonight

But take this bag away)

Pilvikud ja šampinjonid – kus on teie niidid? (See ei ole meie teema)

Käivitate minu keha nagu köögipliidi (Me ei plaani aineid teha)

(Russulas and champignons, where are your threads?

You turn on my body like a kitchen stove)

Pardikesed väikesed, kuid moonid on nii pikad

Mõnuaineid väldime, las seda teevad rikkad

Kohal varahommikul ja kirevad kui kikkad

Ära viisid kommid mul need kurva näoga plikad

(Viiriana Vikkaa)

(Ducklings are so small, but poppies are so tall

We avoid intoxicating substances, that's something rich people do

Present early in the morning, and crowing like roosters

My candies were taken away by some sad-faced girls)

Mõnuaineid väldime vaid sest me pole rikkad

Tarekese tagatoas on laual ainult IPA-d

Prillid on pupilli.. eino pulli pärast ikka

Läbi näevad kõigest need, kes jõudnud esiritta

(Intoxicating substances we avoid cause we're not rich

In the backroom of the hut, there are only IPAs on the table

And the sunglasses are for eye pupils, well, actually for the laughs obviously

You can see right through them if you've made it to the front row)

Ole vait ja ma pole teind

Kuigi ümber minu aint on see tants vaid siin käind jeaa

Ole vait ja ma pole näind

Kuigi ümber minu aint on see tants vaid siin käind jeaa

(Shut up, I haven't done anything

I have only been surrounded by this dance, yeah

Shut up, I haven't seen anything

I have only been surrounded by this dance, yeah)

Kuula nüüd seda

Saab huugama ära

Meid kuulda on täna

A see kott vii ära

(Listen to this now

We gon' be done getting turnt

You can hear us tonight

But take this bag away)

Vahet ma ei suudaks teha vitamiinil spiidil
