In-N-Out Burger is a popular fast food restaurant in the western United States.

The chain is known for its quick service.

One employee revealed that they appreciate when customers use an ordering trick at the drive through — the “handheld” order.

This method can increase efficiency at a crowded location.

An employee shared advice on this method on a Reddit thread asking, “What are some annoying things In-N-Out customers do?”

The employee said several ways to cause gripes with your drive-through worker.

One way to cause a gripe would be “not having your order together when [a] handheld [worker] reaches you in the drive,” they said.

Another is “not ordering your entire meal when [a] handheld is at your door,” they added.

Adding more items later can cause disruption.
