HEAD COACH DAN WATERS

"Overall, I'm proud. I'm so proud of our team this weekend, standing there on the line at the end with a chance to win it on the men's side - that's remarkable. This was the best track and field meet I've ever seen, and everyone on our team was a part of it. In all my years of coaching and being around this sport, I've never witnessed a collegiate track and field meet better than what we had this weekend.

"It was a great performance by everyone that competed this weekend. All of our medalists did a phenomenal job in their preparation and race execution. As a team, we gave what it took to earn our results and we took what the meet gave us.

"We will use this next week to rest and recover before turning our sights toward the East Preliminaries. We will look to build off this weekend's momentum as we finish out the rest of our season."
