The talented youngster made history last night as he became the youngest player ever to feature for Tottenham in the Premier League.

Dane Scarlett previously held the record for Spurs but Mikey Moore made his debut at 16 years, nine months and three days old against Manchester City.

The teenager replaced James Maddison in the second minute of stoppage time and got eight minutes under his belt. But Moore has admitted he was desperate to play for longer.

Speaking to Tottenham’s media team after the game, Moore reflected on making history against City last night.

The youngster then revealed what he asked the referee Chris Kavanagh shortly after coming off the bench.

“I was asking the ref how long to go as soon as I came on. I just wanted it to keep going,” he said.

“I was trying to tell him [to add more time on]. I just want to get on again.”

Moore also spoke about what Tottenham’s coaches said to him before introducing him into the action.

“He [Ange Postecoglou] has spoken to me at times but it’s all the coaching staff, they all play their part.

“They just told me as I came on the pitch just enjoy it, it’s what it’s all about. So I tried to!”
