A small Cotswolds B&B by James Martin's only restaurant near Birmingham has been named as one of the best in the UK and world. Abbots Grange Manor House in the Worcestershire beauty spot of Broadway features in the top 10 B&B list for Tripadvisor's prestigious 2024 Travellers' Choice Awards.
Despite having only nine rooms, that ranks it among the most elite 1% hotels worldwide chosen by travellers themselves. Abbots Grange Manor House won over visitors for its "charm" and "intimate setting" and describes itself as "the most romantic venue in the Cotswolds".
The B&B AA 5 star manor house in Church Street is just off the High Street and a few minutes' stroll from The Lygon Arms, where ITV chef James Martin has been drawing in crowds to his Grill restaurant. It's his only eatery in the Midlands and was shortlisted as among the best restaurants in this year's Taste of Worcestershire Award.

Rooms at Abbotts Grange start from around £220 a night and have wood panelling walls and stone gothic features along with four poster beds. It prides itself on having a cosy candlelit cocktail bar with an original medieval pulpit saying it's "the perfect place to soak up some of the building's 700 year history".
Reviews on Tripadvisor give five star ratings and rave about the "superb breakfast" including from Dave who described the B&B as "the best place to stay in Broadway and the Cotswolds". He added: "To think that I was staying in a place that Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, William Morris, and others had stayed in was surreal."
Sally loved it so much she wrote that she stayed an extra night: "Originally booked for one night but so overwhelmed with the charm on arrival we booked an extra night. Beautiful manor with gorgeous gardens. Totally exclusive right in the centre of Broadway."

The B&B has been a winner of a Tripadvisor 'Excellence Award' for nine years running. A TripAdvisor spokesperson said: “Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best is our highest honour.
