Agnieszka Rydzewski, 33, is now charged with solicitation for murder in the shooting death of her boyfriend, Arturo Cantu, 39, earlier this week outside an apartment building at the corner of 79th Street and Oketo Avenue, Bridgeview police said.

Anthony Calderon, 20, was ordered jailed ahead of trial on first-degree murder charges Saturday for allegedly pulling the trigger in the love triangle, Cook County court records show.

Calderon, of Bedford Park, confronted Cantu about 5 a.m. Wednesday and opened fire multiple times as the older man was on his way to work, authorities allege.

Officers responding to a call of shots fired found Cantu dead at the scene.

Surveillance video showed a man parking his SUV behind a business nearby, walking toward the apartment building and then running back after the shooting, prosecutors said in court filings.

Messages on Cantu’s phone indicated “apparent relationship problems between Arturo and his girlfriend,” prosecutors said.

His girlfriend, identified by Bridgeview police as Rydzewski, let detectives see her phone, where messages suggested “a romantic relationship” with her coworker, Calderon, prosecutors said.

Detectives later found the vehicle seen in the surveillance video outside the McDonald’s where they worked in Bridgeview, and Calderon confessed after being arrested at his home, according to prosecutors.

Police said they found evidence Saturday that Rydzewski “plotted” the killing with Calderon, but didn’t elaborate.

Attorneys for Calderon and Rydzewski couldn’t be reached for comment.

Rydzewski is expected in court Sunday. Calderon’s next court date is Tuesday.
