May 19, 2024 | Men's Tennis

STILLWATER – Texas A&M's Raphael Perot and JC Roddick will represent the Maroon & White in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championships Monday, May 20, at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

Team captain No. 20 Perot led by example for the Aggies on court 1 this season and was named to the All-SEC First Team for the second time in his career. The senior earned 16 wins and took down seven ranked opponents on the year. He opens singles action at 11:30 a.m. on Monday against Notre Dame's No. 38 Sebastian Dominiko. If Perot wins, he will play No. 6 Toby Samuel of South Carolina or UC Santa Barbara's No. 75 Pablo Masjuan on Tuesday.

No. 42 Roddick has been an efficient player for A&M. The junior led the team with 26 wins and eight ranked victories on the season, including three of those in one week. Roddick was the only player to earn back-to-back SEC Player of the Week Honors this season and earned a spot on the All-SEC First Team alongside Perot. He starts his singles campaign at 9 a.m. on Monday versus No. 19 JJ Tracy of Ohio State. If Roddick wins, he will take on Oklahoma's No. 10 Alex Martinez or No. 59 Pierce Rollins of Tulsa the following day.
