Bridgerton is back and it's back with a bang. Pun slightly intended.
The most recent season of the period drama explores the sweet and long awaited relationship of Penelope Featherington ( Nicola Coughlan ) and Colin Bridgerton ( Luke Newton ) the pair are taking over from Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) as the romantic leads.
Although the Netflix hits also examines more serious topics such as feminism, race and sexuality - love really is the main focus of the show. Which leaves us wondering, who are the real life stars dating and are any dating each other?

Come with us as we break down our favourite characters dating lives. Some are surprising but most are super cute and we're here for it.
1. Rege-Jean Page (AKA Simon, The Duke of Hastings)
Rege-Jean was touted for Bond after his showcase as our original romantic lead for the Duke of Hastings, but his real love life is just as enrapturing. The 36-year-old actor has been in a relationship with 32-year-old copywriter and part time football player - Emily Brown.
The pair have been dating since 2019 and are adorable if we do say so ourselves.
2. Phoebe Dynevor (AKA Daphne Bridgerton)
Another of our romantic leads from season one, the ever stunning Phoebe Dynevor. The 29-year-old English rose was once linked with comedian Pete Davison, but is now happily engaged to fellow actor Cameron Fuller, 28. Cameron is known for The Last Ship (2014), Into the Dark (2018) and The Astronaut.
The pair were first spotted together in March 2023, when they were seen leaving a hotel according to Cosmopolitan. They confirmed their relationship when they stepped out together at Wimbledon 2023.
3. Jonathan Bailey (AKA Viscount Anthony Bridgerton)
Heading over to season two now, let's talk about Jonathan Bailey. The heartthrob that is the head of the Bridgerton family himself, Viscount Anthony Bridgerton.
Jonathan is known as a private person but in 2023 he did tell the media that he was dating a "lovely man", reports Elle. He told the Evening Standard : "It's not secret, but it's private. Having a private life is, for me, completely critical. I don’t know if I would be able to be as confident to speak out on other things if I felt that my whole life was up for grabs.”
Sadly it's a current mystery who his current partner is - but he did reportedly date James Ellis, believed to be an actor, between 2019 - 2022. If his lucky man's name is revealed, trust that we'll be the first to let you know.
4. Simone Ashley (AKA Lady Kate Sharma)
Simone Ashley, otherwise known as Lady Kate. The fierce wife of Lord Bridgerton and our main lady from season two.
She has been turning heads with her frisky sex scenes even in season three, and her off-screen love life is no less interesting. The 29-year-old Sex Education star recently went Instagram official with her boyfriend Constantin "Tino" Klein.
It's not known exactly how long the pair have been together, but Simone did say to British Vogue in November 2022 that she was 'happily taken'. Constantin is a former lawyer but has since taken over as the CEO of GP Ice Race - an "automotive winter festival".
Funnily enough, he actually met his beloved at the Grand Prix in Monaco in May 2022.
5. Luke Newton (AKA Colin Bridgerton)
Luke Newton, our male lead for season three has had a major glow up over the past four years that he's starred as Colin Bridgerton. The 31-year-old actor has stolen our hearts as the love interest of Penelope Featherington but who's heart has he stolen in real life?
Luke was in a relationship with West End actress and former Britain's Got Talent contestant Jade Louise Davies between 2019 and early 2023. It is reported that the pair struggled to find time for each other due to their busy careers.
They've since removed each other from their socials and Jade is believed to be dating someone called 'Morgan Gregory'.
Fast forward to now though, we reported that he is said to have struck up a friendship with model and dancer Antonia Roumelioti, 23, in January. The couple enjoyed a romantic break together in LA last month, where they were spotted sunbathing by the Griffith Observatory. And Luke, who plays Colin Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series, is understood to have introduced Antonia to his family.
6. Nicola Coughlan (AKA Penelope Featherington)
The leading lady for season three and icon for wallflowers everywhere, Nicola Coughlan. The 37-year-old Irish actress first came to prominence in Derry Girls, but has since switched up her native Irish accent for a RP British one.
She has been outspoken about ageism and body shamers since taking the helm of the show. But what has she spoken about when it comes to real life love?
Nicola is another one of our stars who is notoriously private. Hello! report that it has been previously stated that she dated Laurie Kynaston, who appeared as Phillip in Derry Girls, but she never confirmed or denied the reports.
She did however address rumours that she was dating her co-star Luke, saying “We think it’s really sweet, I think because we truly love each other,” she told Extra.
The actor then went on to call Luke a “really special person in my life” and added, “I’ll never get to do something like this again, on this scale. It’s so nice having such a lovely friend that I can do all this with.”
If she is single though and someone out there is looking for a way to woo her, just remember not to do a Joker impression and to wash your pits. In an interview with Marie Claire last September she said that she would not like the lack of personal hygiene from the period-era, and also added: "When guys want to do a joker impression. Just don't…do that. That's just an immediate ick and it's never good. I know that's very specific."
7. Luke Thompson (AKA Benedict Bridgerton)
Heading away from our main romantic leads now, let's have a look at the love life of the artistic rogue that is Benedict Bridgerton. He plays the second eldest son in the series and books, so is spared the responsibility held on Anthony's shoulders but is plagued by a seeming lack of direction and love.
But that isn't quite the case in real life, in fact you may be surprised that he is currently rumoured to be dating a co-star from Bridgerton. Who you ask? Well, it's one of the Featheringtons.
Philipa Featherington, who in the show is married to Mr Finch, is played by Harriet Cains. Elle reports that Luke, 35, and Harriet, 30, made their couple debut at a Vanity Fair Rising Stars party in January 2024.
8. Claudia Jessie (AKA Eloise Bridgerton)
Our favourite and sassiest Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie. The 34-year-old actress has yet to find love on the show, despite coming out during the second season. She did speak about having a boyfriend in 2015, but not much else has been reported since then. In 2021 The Express reported that she was dating a sound engineer called Joseph.
It is said that the pair first met whilst at the same pub in Birmingham. In 2018, Claudia revealed she was out with her mother who acted as her wing woman when she first spoke to Joseph, she explained: "She was a great wingman and told me to go and chat to the handsome young man."
9. Hannah Dodd (AKA Francesca Bridgerton)
Hannah Dodd stepped into season three as a grown-up Francesca Bridgerton, who replaced Ruby Stokes on the show. She takes on a leading role this season too, named as Queen Charlotte's diamond. The 29-year-old hasn't spoken publicly about her love life, but is thought to be single according to Capital FM. However she was reportedly linked to Sam Fender in the past. It is believed that Sam DM'd Hannah in 2022, but it is unknown how long the pair were together for.
10. Jessica Madsen (AKA Cressida Cowper)
Previously a background character in the show, Jessica has stepped into the limelight as one of the more leading characters in season three. It comes as Cressida Cowper finds an unlikely friendship with the erudite Eloise Bridgerton. The 32-year-old actress is luckier in love than her onscreen persona, as GO Social report that Jessica is dating a man named Benji Philipson. Going by the stars Instagram it looks like the pair have been dating several years. In 2023 Jessica shared a bi-visibility post on Instagram wishing her followers a happy Pride.
11. Adjoa Andoh (AKA Lady Danbury)
Born in Bristol in 1963, we know Adjoa Andoh best as Lady Danbury in Bridgerton. She is considered one of the most powerful women in London high society and is a personal friend of Queen Charlotte herself.
In the show, Lady Danbury was in love with Lord Ledger, the father of Violet Bridgerton. But in real life, Adjoa met her husband, Howard Cunnell, in 1994 when he took over the bookshop at Battersea Arts Centre, where her theatre company 'Wild Iris' had an office. They have been together since 1995, married in 2001 and have two children together.
12. Golda Rosheuvel (AKA Queen Charlotte)
The Queen herself, Queen Charlotte played by 54-year-okd Golda Rosheuvel, who also starred in the BBC's Doctor Who as 'Jocelyn / Nanny' in episode one 'Space Babies'. Married to the ever suffering King George in the show, in real life she is in a long term relationship with writer and playwright 'Shireen Mula'.
The pair have been together for over a decade after meeting as a friend's party. When asked about the possibility of marrying Mula, she said, “We'll see, we'll see. I mean, you know, I don't see myself with any other person.”
13. Ruth Gemmell (AKA Lady Violet Bridgerton)
The Bridgerton matriarch Lady Violet Bridgerton is played by EastEnders and Tracy Beaker actress Ruth Gemmell. It is not believed that the 56-year-old is currently dating anybody, but she does have a very famous ex. She was married to actor Ray Stevenson in 1997, who she met in 1995 during the filming of 'Band of Gold', sadly the pair divorced in 2005. She does not have any children.
14. Polly Walker (AKA Lady Portia Featherington)
Last but not least, Polly Walker - the 58-year-old mother of two who plays the formidable matriarch of the Featherington girls. Born in 1966, she married actor Laurence Penry-Jones in 2008. Laurence is the brother of period-drama royalty Rupert Penry-Jones, he is also the step-father to Polly's children - Giorgio and Delilah from her previous marriage.
