Amazon's Fire TV Sticks are now some of the most popular devices on the planet for those wanting to stream content to the big screens in their living rooms. With a simple user interface, voice search and full access to apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Freevee it's not surprising so many UK homes now own one.

Now there's a new way to access all the features of the Fire TV Stick but on the ultimate screen and without needing any additional dongles. Panasonic first announced its Fire TV-powered tellies back in January during the CES technology show in Las Vegas. Now the firm is finally ready to unleash them across the globe.

The latest OLED and LED TVs from Panasonic all come with Fire TV built in which the firm hopes will make using its screen easier and more intuitive. "The collaboration with Amazon marks a significant milestone in Panasonic's journey to empower viewers to explore more and feel more," Panasonic explained.

As well as getting simple access to a swathe of streaming services and apps right from the home screen, the updated television also get improved displays with more accurate colour and vivid visuals.

There are also specific modes for better gaming and immersive 3D surround sound without needing a soundbar. Of course, these are Amazon-powered tellies which means Alexa is baked in for useful voice controls. That means you can switch off the lights, set timers and find information right on the TV,

Finally, the Fire TV Ambient Experience is also included which turns your TV into an always-smart display that can be an in-home gallery, a photo display, or show glanceable information like calendars and reminders through customisable Alexa widgets.

“The home entertainment landscape is always evolving but our newest line-up showcases why Panasonic remains the premier selection for both consumers and industry experts globally," said Paul Darch, Director Marketing Consumer Electronic Europe.

“With ground-breaking advancements in OLED technology and smart TV features, including the Master OLED Ultimate panels and the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II our Panasonic Premium TV line up is setting a new standard for immersive viewing experiences.”
