Sir Elton John cemented himself as a multi-hyphenate with his EGOT at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
What is an EGOT winner, you ask?
The prestigious title is bestowed upon performers who have won specific awards for dipping their toes into the four realms of Hollywood.
These awards include the Emmys (television), Grammys (music), Oscars (film) and Tonys (Broadway).
Only a handful of icons have scored all four trophies, including starlets like Rita Moreno, Audrey Hepburn, John Legend, and more.
Sir Elton is the latest winner after scooping his first Emmy Award on Jan. 15, 2024, for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category for his Disney+ special, “Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium.”
