Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Iniesta predicts El Clasico this weekend

Former Barcelona midfielder, Andres Iniesta, has said the Catalans “have the team to win the Clasico and LaLiga”.

A poor start to this campaign sees Ronald Koeman’s team sit in seventh place in the league and rock bottom of their Champions League group.

Ahead of this weekend’s El Clasico at the Nou Camp, Barca defeated Valencia 3-1 in LaLiga, to move points behind Real Madrid.

The team has been buoyed by the returns from injury of Ansu Fati and Sergio Aguero, as well as the performances of youngsters such as Gavi.

“I think Barca fans are always optimistic, even more so for the Clasico.

“They will be looking forward to the game, their team playing well and winning.

“Barca have the team to win the Clasico and LaLiga. I hope they play well and get the three points,” Iniesta told ESPN.
