Google has a big event scheduled for Tuesday, October 19, 2021, to fully reveal the new Pixel 6 phone, and this time there are some significant differences. After several years of another new Pixel that is much the same as the one introduced the previous year, Google is shaking things up with an exciting new smartphone that might challenge Samsung and Apple on more than just photography.

While Google is the developer of Android, the most popular phone with that operating system is made by Samsung, which regularly leads with its Galaxy Note which includes an S Pen, the S-Series with its 100 times zoom, and also the new foldables, the Z Fold, and Z Flip. Meanwhile, Google just has the standard Pixel and the Pixel-A, which are good phones that can take great photos in low light but are otherwise fairly standard. However, with the Pixel 6, that is about to change.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are considered by the company to be the first all-Google phones. That's because Google designed every detail of the new Pixel down to the silicon chip that gives it its special abilities. Rumors, leaks, and previews suggest this will be the most intelligent and fastest Pixel ever. For certain, it will be the most iconic design ever, with a camera bar stretching the entire width of the phone and two-tone colorways. In addition, since it includes Google's Tensor chip, it will have advanced AI capabilities, making Assistant more helpful than ever, allowing even more remarkable computational photography features.

Besides the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Google might reveal new Pixel Buds, Nest mini, and possibly a Pixel Watch. The Pixel 6 event is coming on tomorrow morning for those that live on the western side and early afternoon for easterners. It's sure to be one of the most exciting product announcements from Google in many years, so tune in to see the Pixel 6 when it launches.
