Roy, Simon and David in Corrie
Emotions run high (Pictures: ITV)

The aftermath of Coronation Street’s deadly week will begin and after the sinkhole tragedy, a certain someone is feeling the guilt.

As storm clouds form over Weatherfield, residents will face terror when the sinkhole at the Platt’s house collapses.

Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews), Johnny (Richard Hawley), Corey (Maximus Evans) and Abi (Sally Carman) are all trapped in the Victorian sewers but right now, we don’t know who makes it out alive.

Coming up, the residents reel from the traumatic events while Leo breaks the news to David (Jack P Shephard) that had they had the sinkhole repaired sooner, the catastrophe of the previous evening would never have happened.

As David’s guilt increases, can he cope with his friends potentially pointing the finger, thinking he is solely to blame for this death?

And of course, the big question – who has died?

At the start of the week, more tragedy hits the cobbles – has someone else been killed, or died in hospital?

And how will the passing of this resident or residents impact everyone else after such terrifying events?
