Ace Austin and Gia Miller have set up a GoFundMe page after losing their second-story apartment in a devastating fire.

The IMPACT Wrestling couple, who both work for the company as a wrestler and backstage interviewer respectively, woke up to find their home on fire and had to make a quick escape with their cat Selina.

Sharing pictures of the blaze and their beloved pet – who also survived the terrifying incident – Gia wrote: ‘This morning my worst fear was realized.

‘I woke up to the realization that our apartment was on fire. We were able to make it out, our baby girl was saved, everyone is as okay as we can be. Now it is time to rebuild. Like a phoenix, from these ashes we will rise. (sic)’

She later shared a link to their GoFundMe, adding that ‘anything is appreciated’ while also directing people to their PWTees store to support them in that way.

She went into more detail about the fire on the page, revealing she woke up on October 18 to ‘the distinct smell of smoke’.

She wrote: ‘The fire had originated on the front porch, nearly trapping us inside. We went running through the flames, where we were met with a community of people rushing to our sides to get us to safety.

‘Mere seconds from being trapped, Austin (Ace) and I escaped our home that was now engulfed in flames and smoke. All of our belongings, including our sweet cat Selina that had hidden out of fear, were trapped inside.

‘By some miracle, our baby girl was found alive and well buried under our ceiling and roof that had collapsed on top of her, shielding her from the flames and smoke.’

On-screen personality Gia revealed they are ‘physically okay’ but their home is ‘gone’.

‘Something we worked so hard to build over the last year and a half, gone in minutes,’ she added. ‘We do not know what was able to be saved if anything.’

Thus far, over $22,000 has been raised for the couple, with fellow IMPACT star Sami Callihan among those to offer support.

Ace later added: ‘I am truly astonished by the overwhelming amount of generosity and support that @MeanGiaMiller and I have received today.

‘Thank you will never be enough. Every single person who donated will get something from me in return someday when this is over. That is a promise.’

Austin even donated to a fan asking for help for their own GoFundMe, and Gia revealed they would be supporting other families in their building who were impacted by the fire.

She tweeted: ‘First, THANK YOU. Second, 16 other families were also affected that do not have our privilege. So, anything extra that we raise will be donated to help those families.’

She also shared an update on Selina, and revealed the cat is ‘doing great’ despite enduring ‘flames, smoke, the roof falling in on her, and the hoses drenching her and the fire’.

Gia added: ‘Some labored breathing when she’s exploring, but no coughing or wheezing. She’s acting like herself again. Praise the Lord. (sic)’
