For some, the first cup of coffee in the morning is one of the most important things, and they can’t start the day without them. That’s why having a good coffee maker or espresso machine can make a world of difference for folks who rely heavily on a good mug of coffee. That said, grabbing yourself a machine that will brew your favorite beverage at a good price can be a bit tricky, especially with some of the more budget options having questionable quality. As such, we have done our best to go out and scour various retailers for our favorite coffee maker deals to help save you some hassle. Mr. Coffee 5-cup coffee maker — $25, was $40

This coffee maker makes up to 25 ounces of coffee at a time, which is just right for two 12-ounce cups. Its compact design fits nicely into small spaces, making it a great consideration for apartment renters and small offices. This is also a good coffee maker if you find yourself in a constant hurry in the morning, as it has an auto-pause feature that lets you grab a cup before brewing is finished and a two-hour auto shut-off that turns off the coffee maker so you don’t have to.

This coffee maker by Hamilton Beach is one of the more affordable options you’ll find, but it doesn’t necessarily skimp on capability. In fact, it’s capable of having a cup of coffee ready for you when you wake up in the morning with its programmable drip coffee making feature. This makes it a good consideration for morning zombies or anyone facing an earlier morning than they’d like. It’s easy to clean as well, with most of its components being dishwasher safe.

While it doesn’t have brew strength, it does have brew sizes, so you can adjust the strength somewhat that way, and the drip tray is removable so that you can get larger cups or potentially a travel mug in there.

While espresso machines tend to be quite expensive, you don’t have to spend upwards of $500 to get something that’s relatively good. In fact, the Ninja Espresso & Coffee Barista System is a solid option if you want to be able to have both normal coffee and espresso, with up to four different espresso sizes to pick from. It even comes with a foldaway milk frother so you aren’t taking up a bunch of space, and while the overall machine might not compete with something you’d get at a cafe, it’s a pretty good option for the price.

In fact, it comes with a conical burr grinder that has 13 grind settings, allowing you to go from grounds to coffee in one machine, which is really great for those who prefer working with beans directly rather than buying ground coffee. It also has seven quick recipes you can pick from and an excellent frother for texturing milk and milk derivatives, so you can get the perfect creme on top.
