Kolhapur-Mumbai flight resumes after a gap of two months

After a gap of over two months, the flight between Kolhapur and Mumbai has resumed once again. The flight will further travel to Jalgaon via Mumbai.

In January, the flight will be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, the flight service provider aims to continue the flight every day from February.

“The flight service to Mumbai from Kolhapur airport has resumed after a gap of around two months. The flight service provider will be operating the same flight till Jalgaon via Mumbai and hence, along with Mumbai, now Kolhapur has got air connectivity to Jalgaon as well," The Times of India quoted Airport director Kamal Kumar Kataria as saying.

With the resumption of the flight, travel time will significantly be reduced from the northern Maharashtra region (Khandesh) with western Maharashtra.

Kolhapur-Mumbai flight timings:

The flight will depart from Jalgaon airport at 9.50 am and via Mumbai, it will arrive at Kolhapur airport at 12.55 pm. The flight will again depart at 1.55 pm and via Mumbai, it will reach Jalgaon at 4.15 pm.

The duration of the flight will be three hours in one direction.
