Victoria Beckham's latest attempt to stop the feud between daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz and Mia Regan hasn't worked.
The former Spice Girl reportedly tried to "organise a clear-the-air girls lunch" for Mia and Nicola, while she mediates, but the plans are yet to materialise, the Daily Mail has reported.
Billionaire heiress Nicola, 27, who tied the knot with Brooklyn, 23, in a lavish ceremony last month, rarely interacts with Romeo's girlfriend Mia on social media and vice versa.
Romeo and model Mia struck up a romance in May 2019, going Instagram official with their relationship on Romeo's 17th birthday a few months later, writes the Mirror.
After Brooklyn's wedding extravaganza, rumours have been rife that Romeo is set to follow in his big brother's footsteps and pop the question to his beau.
A source previously told the Mirror: "Mia is close to Romeo's mum Victoria. It was clear the couple want a long-term future together and have already spoken about being soulmates.
"Marrying quickly and young seems to be in the Beckham tradition."
However, an insider close to the couple brushed off the speculation - claiming the two stars are too "young and focused on their respective careers".
Romeo plays football for the reserve affiliate of dad David's Major League Soccer club Inter Miami, Inter Miami II, while Mia is signed to prestigious Storm Models and tipped to be one of the next big faces on the catwalk.
The teenager has already worked with major high-end brands like Gucci Beauty and Balmain and is described by her agents as the "quintessential millennial muse with a unique Gen-Z approach to fashion and beauty".
When Brooklyn and Nicola exchanged wedding vows on the bride's £76million Florida estate in April, Romeo and Mia were, of course present, but broke a major rule on the big day.
Mia took to Instagram the night before the nuptials to share a snap of herself and her boyfriend dressed up to the nines for a rehearsal dinner.
In the stylish image, the young model could be seen wearing a chic lemon dress and cowboy boots - while dapper Romeo wore a bold pink suit and bright white shirt.
