Police searching for a man who vanished from Aberdeen two weeks ago think he could be in Edinburgh.

We previously told how Teodor Asaftei vanished from is home in the granite city on Tuesday May 10.

Officers believe the 27-year-old might have travelled to Edinburgh, potentially visiting the Cameron Toll and Chesser areas, as well as the city centre.

PI Kennedy said: “Teodor has been missing for almost two weeks now and we are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

“We believe Teodor may have travelled to Edinburgh between May 10 and 12 and that he has been in the Cameron Toll and Chesser areas of the city.

"It is thought that he may also be frequenting Edinburgh city centre."

Teodor, known as Stefan, is described as being white, five foot ten inches tall and of slim build, with dark hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a navy jacket, black trousers, a black woollen hat and black Airmax trainers.

He may also be carrying a grey rucksack and sleeping back.

Police ask anyone who might have seen Teodor, or has information on his whereabouts to come forward.

PI Kennedy added: "I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen Teodor, or who has any information in relation to his current whereabouts to get in touch.

"Anyone who knows of Teodor’s whereabouts or has any information that could help find him, are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 2788 of Sunday, May 15."
